| SafeSport | Every trainer completes U.S. Center for SafeSport training through U.S. Soccer as part of their coaching license, and follows SafeSport athlete-protection policies. |

| Background checks | Every trainer passes a background check through U.S. Soccer as part of their coaching license, before working with players. |
| Coaching licenses | Trainers hold the U.S. Soccer coaching licenses relevant to the age groups and levels they coach. Our coaching education is led by U.S. Soccer Coach Educators (CE Grassroots and CE D). |
| CPR / AED / First Aid | CPR/AED/First Aid training is made available to every trainer, and trainers are expected to complete it. We also offer the training to club board members and volunteer parent coaches. Gabe Ramos, Chief Operating Officer, is an American Heart Association CPR/AED/First Aid and BLS Instructor. |
| Concussion protocol | Any player with a suspected head injury is removed from play and does not return that day. Parents and the club are told right away, and the player returns only with clearance from a medical provider. |
| Insurance | Royal Sporting is fully insured for the training we deliver. Certificates of insurance are available on request. |
| Trainer-to-player ratios | We aim for 1 trainer for every 8 players in Pre-K and kindergarten, and 1 for every 12 in 1st and 2nd grade. Travel teams train as a full team roster with their trainer. Camps: 1 coach for every 12 players. |
